# Introduction

0KN is a next generation decentralized privacy initiative that is capable of delivering a truly metadata-private internet layer to the world with capabilities not available in other existing systems. 

This is the first iteration of 0KNs technical documentation, such as the architecture and all the components that make up the 0KN infrastructure.
